Today during the Sunday School hour for the Refocusing Summit #1 there will be Sunday School classes for grades pre-K through 8th. MYF and adults are welcome to be a part of the Summit. In the afternoon from 1-4:00 PM there will be activities and childcare available for pre-K through 8th at Amigo Centre.
We need another desk in the church offices. If anyone has one to donate, please let Pastor John or Beth Miller know. Thanks.
Everyone is invited to the catered Valentine Banquet on Feb. 7 at 6:00 PM with special speaker Gerald Sims. (Lorraine will be there, too!) Cost is $10 each. Sign up on the library counter to reserve your place. Young parents – please let Louanne Younts know if you would be interested in child care in the basement.
The final 6 sessions of Bringing Up Boys will begin Feb. 8. We will have these sessions later in the afternoon, 3-5:00 PM. The first session will be at Dana & Donna Sommers’ home. Contact them if you have any questions.
The February WMSC project is cash for Galilean Children’s Home.
Scrapbooking Retreat at Amigo Centre on Mar. 19-21 – The theme for the weekend is “Gathering the Scraps of our Lives to Create Beautiful Memories”. For more information call 651-2811.
