Wednesday Connection begins again this Wednesday starting with soup and sandwich at 5:30 PM. At 6:30 PM the following options are yours to choose from: a study in Mark led by Ross Weber, Beth Moore study led by Cathy Fellers, Marriage Enrichment Class led by Sam & Mattie Miller, Prayer Group led by Jim Carpenter, and Bible Memory led by Ramona King and Donna Gautsche (for preschoolers to 8th graders).
Marriage Enrichment Class is for any married couple no matter how many or few years you have been married. Using the Smalley video’s enhances our marriages by helping us to have a greater respect for our spouse, gives us insight on communication skills, and gives us more understanding on the real meaning of love and forgiveness. Come join the group for a fun and meaningful time at Wednesday Connection.
The “Good Sense Budget Workshop” will be held the following Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM: Jan. 15 & 29, Feb. 5 & 19, and Mar. 5 & 19.
The MCC Meat Canner will be at the Depot in Goshen Jan. 17-27. Locust Grove is scheduled to help on Thursday, Jan. 26. Check the west bulletin board for more details.
Birth Announcements – Congratulations to Kevin & Tangi Rumsey on the birth of Adalynn Sue on Dec. 29. She weighed 6 lb 11oz and was 19 in. long. Her big brother is Alden (almost 2). Grandparents are Greg & Carolyn Gautsche and great grandparents are Delmar & Donna Gautsche and Dave & Bertha Bontrager.
- Congratulations also go to the Franz family. Kara Bethany was born on Dec. 30 to Kurt & Kelly Franz. She weighed 7 lb 8 oz and was 19 ½ in. long. Two year old brother Kyle thinks she is pretty cute as do grandparents Bill & Martha Franz. Please pray for little Kara as she has had some breathing difficulties and was transferred to Bronson Hospital shortly after her birth.
