ANNOUNCEMENTS

Food donations during April will go to Keystone Place.

Sympathy and prayers go to the family of Lloyd Schrock who passed away Mar. 25 in Florida.  Funeral services were held here at Locust Grove last week with Bill Beck officiating.  Please remember Sharon, Greg & Brenda, Mike & Lori, and Mark & Debi and their families as they grieve the loss of their husband, father, and grandfather.

Correction to the office’s booklet – Carolyn Gautsche is the Sunday school secretary, not Janell Lederman.

There will be a Love Farewell for Pastor Bill & Sherry on Apr. 25.  Prior to that we would invite everyone (including children) to be saving things for a scrapbook page for them.  It can include cards, pictures, or memories (be creative).  If you don’t have scrapbook supplies, there will be some available on Apr. 11 & 18 at the church.  Pre-made pages should measure 9.5x12.  8x8 pages will be available for the children to use.

Elder nomination sample forms are in your mailboxes.  You will be asked to submit your suggestions for nominations on Apr. 18.  Please let the church office know of any corrections that need to be made.

We are hoping to start up primary department Sunday school classes again sometime after Easter.  If you are interested in teaching a class, please let Cathy Fellers or Katrina Hasbrouck know.  Even if you’d only like to do it for a few months at a time, we are open to that as well.

“Thank you for loving our family so well this week with your prayers, cards, food and hugs.  All the expressions of love shown came from "good" hearts as we were reminded by Pastor Bill - What is the condition of our heart?  We love you, The Lloyd Schrock Family
