EXPLORERS – Today from 2-4:00 PM is your next activity. You will be meeting at Sam & Mattie’s cabin for an afternoon of fun. If you like to fish, bring your fishing pole. If you have an outside game you would like to play, bring it along. Looking forward to seeing you there!
There will be a work day here at the church on Wednesday, May 4 from 1-7:00 PM. You will find work slips on the library counter today. Please bring your rakes or other appropriate equipment for the job you choose. If you have questions talk to Bill Lederman or Sheila Troyer. Following the work time there will be pizza and pop at 7:00 PM for all the hard workers.
The next scrapbooking/craft night is this Friday at 6:00 PM in the fellowship hall. Bring a snack to share and your own drink.
You are all invited to a pork sandwich benefit dinner for Mike & Darlene Miller and family today at Grace Christian Fellowship in Sturgis from 1-3:00 PM. Mike broke his shoulder last May and was off of work till late last fall. Then he fell in January and broke three vertebrae and again can’t work.
Craft Club is Thursday, May 5 at 7:00 PM at Erma Eash’s.
You are invited to an Open House May 13 from noon to 7:00 PM to celebrate with Bergey Financial and MMA the opening of a new office in Sturgis. This office is shared with Chupp Insurance at the corner of Wade Street and M-66.
We had announced that we would take a special offering on April 24 for the Mennonite College Tuition Matching Grant Fund. We will not be doing that this year because there is only one student that has applied for the grant. There already is money available for that student through the budgeted line item. If you want to contribute to this fund for students in the future, you can do that at any time by placing your contribution in the regular offering and mark it as a designation for the College Student Matching Grant Fund. If you have any questions, talk to Gerri Schwartz.
Want to combine your faith and your vocation? Check out the job opportunity announcement from Roy Bergey that is posted on the west bulletin board.
