A Nurture Commission meeting is scheduled for Monday evening at 7:00 PM at the church.
The Elder Team will meet Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Greg Blucker’s.
The next Worship Commission meeting will be Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 7:00 PM at Mattie Miller’s home.
If you would like to help with different mission projects or needs in Moldova, please consider designating through the offering to “Moldova Projects”. While in Moldova, different needs are always brought to our attention. This money would help Martha, Ramona and Beth to be able to contribute “on the spot”. Thank you for your help!

Pleasant View Mennonite Church is having a Hog Roast Fundraising Event for Destiny Peshina-Higdon on Aug. 23 from 11:30-4:00 PM. Ruth Peshina has a sign-up sheet if you plan to attend. Today is the last day you can sign up.
One of the projects for the Moldova trip in September is a Christian Recovery Center. Good new or used men’s clothing is needed for the men at this center. Most of the men in Moldova are sizes small, medium or large – not extra large. If you have things you could donate, please talk to Ramona or Beth.
The Moldova school kits ask for $1 to purchase Moldovan notebooks to add to the kits once we get there. There is a white container on the library counter for you to put your dollars into rather than in the school kit bag. Thanks! – Martha Franz
The next WMSC meeting is Aug. 20. Rachael Hochstedler will be hostess and Donna Gautsche will have devotions. The project is school kits for Moldova.
If you are planning to attend college this school year and would like our prayers, please let Beth Miller know so that she can post it in the weekly bulletin.
