For those who use the offering envelopes, please note that there is now a separate line already printed for designating to the remodeling project.
On Jan. 31 we will have a noon fellowship meal followed by communion and then a congregational meeting.
The MCC meat canner will be at the Depot in Goshen Jan. 19-29. Locust Grove is scheduled to help on Thursday, Jan. 21. Work begins at 7:00 AM and the evening shift usually finishes by 8:30 PM. More information is posted on the west bulletin board.

The January WMSC project is Relief Kits for MCC. The next meeting is Jan. 21. Faith Carpenter will have devotions and lunch will be a potluck.
Congratulations to Bill & Janell Lederman on the birth of their first granddaughter. Ava Grace Suderman was born to Josh & Jaclyn on Jan. 10. She weighed 7 lb. 9 oz and was 20 ½ in long. Mom and baby are doing well and all are thankful for the safe delivery.
It’s time to reorganize the prayer chain. A paper is on the table by the library. Please sign it if you want to be on the prayer chain. Only those who sign up will be included.
Annual Reports for 2008-09 are on the table by the library. Help yourself.
Anyone interested in scrapbooking is invited to Magic Moments on Friday, Feb. 5. This is one of their normal crop nights. The cost is $5.00 a person and you need to call ahead and reserve a spot. Their phone number is 651-4300. The crop goes until 11:00pm. If you have any questions, see Pam Keeslar.
MCC is responding to the earthquake that struck Haiti Jan. 12, the largest in more than 200 years. MCC’s response will be at least $1 million U.S. and will provide immediate shelter, food, emergency supplies, trauma healing, and other long-term recovery needs. You can help through prayer for the people of Haiti and by donating to MCC’s Haiti Earthquake appeal. Relief for the Winter Blahs – Join others in a sewing project on Jan. 26 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Amigo Centre. Lunch and an afternoon snack are provided. Take your own sewing machine, scissors, and cream-colored thread. Call Faith Gardner at 651-2811 if you can help.
