ANNOUNCEMENTS
Plan to join us this evening at 6:00 PM for a time of story, special music, and singing Christmas carols as we explore “A Christmas to Believe In”.  Bring finger food to share in a time of fellowship following the program.
During the month of December, the Missions Commission will be receiving special offerings to help MCC purchase meat for MCC Meat Canning.  $3 covers the expense to can one 28 oz. can of meat.  $72 will cover the cost for one complete carton of meat and $6 is the cost to ship one carton.
The Nativity Story movie will be shown in the sanctuary this Wednesday, Dec. 18.  A finger food supper will be served at 5:30 PM with the movie beginning at 6:00 PM.  Bring family, friends, and finger food to share.  See Audra Franz with questions.
ANNOUNCEMENTS, cont.
WMSC will meet this Thursday, Dec. 19.  Audra Franz is in charge of the kitchen and Irene Troyer will have devotions.  The project is newborn kits for MCC.
“Because you have shared in their lives with your love and friendship, please join us Sunday, Dec. 22 from 4-8:00 PM at Locust Grove for a 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration in honor of Jake & Martha Schwartz.  Come with memories to share.  No gifts please.
We will be serving communion next Sunday.  There will be no foot washing.
The Red Cross Blood Drive at Locust Grove has been rescheduled to
Jan. 3, 2014.
We do not currently have a Locust Grove advocate for Everence.  If you are interested in filling that role or would like to get more information about what is involved, please contact Brian Oswald.
It’s almost time for new 2014 offering envelopes.  If you have used them before and don’t want to use them next year, please let Natalie Bellaire know.  Or if you didn’t use them and want to start, let her know that, too.
Ladies – Do you want to know who has been praying for you through 2013?  A Prayer Partner Revealing Party will be Jan. 6 at 6:30 PM at Evelyn Blucker’s.  Bring your revealing gift and finger food to share.  Information forms for 2014 are on the console by the library.  Fill one out and bring it to the party.  New prayer partners are welcome!
Remember to bring your food donations that will go to Keystone Place.
