 ANNOUNCEMENTS

Food donations during August will go to Keystone Place.

The WMS project for August is school kits for MCC.

On Sunday, Aug. 28, we will have our outdoor service at the pavilion at Amigo Centre. There will not be Sunday school. Coffee and donuts will be available at 10:00 AM and the worship service will begin at 10:30. There will be a special offering for Amigo and the use of the facility. Following the worship, we will have a fellowship meal at the pavilion.  At 2:00 PM there will be a baptismal service at Rich & Chris Oswald’s home on Perrin Lake.  If you are interested in being baptized, please let Matthew Yoder know.

The next blood drive is September 12.  Volunteers are needed to help with registration, drivers for donors if needed, and tear down.  A sign-up sheet is in the fellowship hall.

Our Praise Team will be singing at the county fair on Sept. 18 at 3:30 PM.

New members to Locust Grove are Richard Hochstetler (confession of faith) and Matt & Liz Yoder (transfer of membership from Clinton Frame).  Welcome!

The Life & Nurture Commission is putting together a kitchen committee for the upcoming year. If you are interested, please reach out to a member of the commission (see member list below). Kitchen Committee does take some effort and availability, so ideally, we are looking for a couple different volunteer types. One would be a larger commitment of being more of a leader/coordinator in the role. The other would be more of a "willing helper, " who may not have flexible availability but is willing to be on a list for the coordinator(s) to call on from time to time as the need arises. Our intention is that "many hands make light work."  Thank you!  The Life and Nurture Commission - Darin King, Beth Miller, Leroy Hochstetler, Louellen Westover

The church email address is locustgrove@gmail.com
