ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today – There will be an informational meeting immediately after the church service for anyone interested in traveling to Uganda for the opening of the school.  Travel dates are January 28 – February 7, 2026.  You will need to let the committee know your decision by November 9.  If there are any questions, see Phiona Jorgensen, Eva Beeker, Ramona King, or Bill & Janell Lederman.

Food donations during October will go to the Keystone Place.

If you would like a church mailbox so that you can be more informed about church activities, etc. please let Beth Miller know.

The Women’s Mission & Service project for October is twin flat sheets for Mennonite Central Committee.

Service Trip Opportunity: Matt Franz is making arrangements to take a small group to Asherville, NC the week of Thanksgiving to help with disaster relief. If you are interested in being on the service crew, contact Matt Franz in person or call/text him at 269-221-2438. Space is limited so reach out soon!

Wednesday, October 22 will be the final pickleball date for the season.

October is pastor appreciation month. We will have a fellowship meal Sunday, October 26 after the morning service. Please bring a filled dish or 2 to share. If you would like to share a card or gift of appreciation for Pastor Matt, you can put it in his mailbox or there will be a basket available on the 26.

October 29, 6-8:30pm - LG Kids Ministry is hosting a Fall Festival for families at church. We will have games, a barrel ride, pumpkin painting, snacks, BINGO and story time! Parents are welcome to stay with their kids. This will be at church in place of Kids Club. 

Time change - November 2.  Turn your clocks back one hour.

"Loved First" will continue a T-shirt/Sweatshirt Fundraiser until November 2. Shirts are on display in the foyer area. Please give order forms and money in person to Eva Beeker, or Ramona King, or Bill and Janell Lederman.

The next Blood Drive is Monday, November 3.  Volunteers are needed to help with registration, tear down, and to drive donors if needed.  A sign-up sheet is at the welcome center.

Women’s Fellowship Christmas Tea – Wreath decorating with Timberly Tree Farm.  Cost for making a wreath is $45.  Checks for wreaths should be make out to Timberly Tree Farm. Wreath making is optional. Bring a dish to pass for the Tea.  If interested in decorating a table, sign up online or at the Welcome Center.  Sign up for attending and wreath making are also online or at the Welcome Center.  Deadline to sign up is November 16.
