A report from Sam Miller – “Celebrate MCC, Moving with Compassion, Making Peace” was held at the Clinton Frame Menn. Church this year. Friday evening was spent in worship, sharing faith stories, and the dedication of blankets. Saturday was spent in worship, and seminars/workshops. The Asian tsunami response has been the largest in MCC history. Twelve million dollars has been donated for long term and short term use. This fall there will be a major drive for school kits. MCC is also promoting the Bikeathon for this fall. MCC has many Resources for our church to draw from.
Hello is a new magazine for children. I would encourage those who work with small children to look at one of those. I have a resource catalog if you are looking for resource for your elementary grades, youth core, and Jr. High. There are also videos and other material that may be helpful.
