Wednesday Connection Champions – Paige’s team
Three series of junior age books have been donated to the church library. Each series consists of 10 books. The series are: Adventures of the North Woods, Golden Filly, and High Hurdles.
On Saturday, Apr. 18, volunteers from area churches will go out in teams to work on people’s homes and yards. They’ll clean up winter damage and clutter from yards, and will do painting, light repair, and maintenance work on homes. This day is called “Palm Saturday” and is sponsored by the Sturgis Ministerial Association. Assistance application cards and volunteer application cards are on the library counter.
WMSC is this Thursday. Sherry Beck will be hostess and Rachael Hochstedler will have devotions. The project is soap for MCC.
ANNOUNCEMENTS, cont.
There are left over old red hymnals available to anyone who would like them. We ask that for the first two weeks you take only one per family to ensure that each family that wants one will get them. We are also asking for donations for the hymnals are made to the building fund.
The Patricks now have cell phones only. Charlie’s number is 625-1559 and Stefanie’s is 625-1261.
Don’t forget to bring in your Farm & Ranch, Birds & Blooms, and Country Living and other magazines which have scenery pictures of America. These will go in the Moldovan school bags. Bring your magazines in to the church office. Thanks for your help.
