during May will go to the Salvation Army.
The next blood drive will be
Monday, May 10. Volunteers are needed to help with setup, registration, tear
down and driving donors who may need rides. A sign-up sheet is in the
fellowship hall. If you want to donate blood, call the Red Cross for an
appointment 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
Women's
Fellowship: Coffee & Canvas, Tuesday, May 11 @ 6:00 PM. Cost is $10 per
person. There is a sign-up sheet in fellowship hall.
The Women’s
Mission & Service May project is hygiene kits for MCC. Kits bags can be picked up at each sanitation
table. Contents to be purchased – 1
medium-weight hand towel, 1 large bar of bath soap, 1 adult toothbrush, 1 good
quality nail clipper, 1 wide-tooth comb.
Returned the filled bags to the WMS counter in the fellowship hall. Thanks for your help!

Request from the Pastoral Search Team:
Please pray expectantly with us from Matt. 7:7, “Ask and it will be
given to you. Seek and you will find.” This month our Pastoral Search Team will be
creating a timeline and beginning a pastoral profile for our church’s ideal
candidates based on Locust Grove’s ministry needs, vision and mission.
