ANNOUNCEMENTS

Food donations during October will go to Keystone Place.

Annual Reports for the 2022-23 church are due.

The Worship Commission is planning another hymn sing at the Riegsecker barn this evening, October 22nd. Steve has volunteered to make soup so we are suggesting people come at 4:30 or 5:00pm. You can fellowship over a bowl of soup and then we will plan to sing at 6:00pm. Bring finger foods to snack on. In the case of cold weather, the barn can be heated.

October is Pastor Appreciation Month. We will be celebration Pastor Matt and his family with a fellowship meal on October 29 after the morning service. Plan to bring a full dish or two to share and enjoy a time of fellowship. There will be a basket available for cards of appreciation.

Turn you clocks back one hour on Saturday night, November 4.

The next Blood Drive is November 6.  Volunteers are needed to help with registration, driving donors if needed, and tear down.  A sign-up sheet is at the Welcome Center.

Mennonite Central Committee Comforter Bash will be November 10 & 11 at Pleasant View Church, 58529 CR 23, Goshen, Indiana.

Church offices booklets for 2023-24 are available at the welcome center.

Don't know what to do with those puzzles cluttering up your closet shelves?

Bring them to the library, where you can share them with the folks here.  And you can "take" out a new one to put together.  Winter is coming and this is a great way to enjoy some family time!

- With Doug & Kim Schwartz and family on the passing of Doug’s mom, Martha, on October 12.  Funeral services were October 17 here at Locust Grove.  Martha was a wonderful prayer warrior and will be greatly missed.  Please remember her family in prayer.
