Jan. 22 marks the 31st anniversary of the US Supreme Court decision which legalized abortion in our country. Since that time we have witnessed a dreadful tragedy in the killing of more than 42,000,000 innocent unborn children. Today virtually one in every three pregnancies ends in abortion with abortions outnumbering live births in 14 major cities. The St. Joe County Right to Life is again publishing a list in the Sturgis Journal of those people in our county who are against this killing. Please PRINT your name and address on one of the papers on the table in the fellowship hall to show your support for the constitutional right to life for all human beings.
“Thanks so much for the cards, meals and especially the prayers. We appreciate your love and kindness. Please continue to pray for healing and that they can get the thyroid medication regulated.” – Angie and Brad Litwiller and Family
The results of the ballot on the church staffing proposal were: Pastor of Nurture – 97% in favor; Interim Staff proposal – 86% in favor.
