Church League Basketball at Shipshewana Elementary – Thurs. Jan. 29 @ 8:00 PM – Locust Grove vs Shipshe
For the next 9 weeks the MYF will be doing a series on Wednesday nights called “Becoming a Faithful Sinner”. Please note the change in meeting time.
There will be a Refocusing Fellowship Meal at noon on Sunday, Feb. 1. Please plan to attend. Food slips for the meal ingredients are on the end of the mailboxes. Please take one or more. Bring your food items that morning. Thanks. – The Kitchen Committee
On Feb. 1 during the Sunday School hour for the Refocusing Summit #1 there will be Sunday School classes for grades pre-K through 8th. MYF and adults are welcome to be a part of the Summit. In the afternoon from 1-4:00 PM there will be activities and childcare available for pre-K through 8th at Amigo Centre.
JYFers – Please meet at the church on Jan. 30 at 6:30 PM to go to Pokagon Park for tobogganing. Please eat supper before you come but you may bring money for snacks if you like. Also, bring $2.50 for entry and sledding. Plan to be picked up at the church around 10:00 PM.
JYFers – You will be going to a K-Wings hockey game on Mar. 12 (NOTE THE CHANGE OF DATE.). Plan to leave the church at 5:30 PM and return at 10:30 PM. You NEED to let KATRINA know by Feb. 22 if you will be going.
Everyone is invited to the catered Valentine Banquet on Feb. 7 at 6:00 PM with special speaker Gerald Sims. (Lorraine will be there, too!) Cost is $10 each. Sign up on the library counter to reserve your place. Young parents – please let Louanne Younts know if you would be interested in child care in the basement.
