ANNOUNCEMENTS
Women’s Fellowship will be having a cookie bake on Saturday, Aug. 21 beginning at 9:00 AM here at the church. Cookies will be made for the MCC Relief Sale in September. Next Sunday there will be 2 sign-up sheets on the table in the Fellowship Hall. One sheet is for those planning to help make the cookies and the other sheet is for ingredients needed. Plan to come and bring a friend!
“We would like to say a HUGE “thank you” for joining us at the hymn sing last Sunday evening. We had a great turnout and wonderful time fellowshipping, eating, and singing with all those in attendance. We would also like to thank you for your donation to the JYF. Playgroup will be this Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 3:00 PM at Audra Franz’s. Bring swimsuits.
Just a friendly reminder that the 2009-10 church year is almost over and annual reports will be due soon.
ANNOUNCEMENTS, cont.
We will be having our annual outdoor worship service at Amigo Centre on Aug. 22 with a fellowship meal to follow. Coffee and donut time starts at 10:00 AM with the worship service at 10:30 AM. Please bring salads and desserts for the noon meal. The food committee will be grilling meat for sandwiches. Table service and drinks will be provided. A second offering will be received as a gift to Amigo. There will be no Sunday school that morning.
If you would like to help with different mission projects or needs in Moldova, please consider designating through the offering to “Moldova Projects”. While in Moldova, different needs are always brought to our attention. This money would help Martha, Ramona and Beth to be able to contribute “on the spot”. Thank you for your help!
The WMSC project for August is school kits for MCC. The next meeting is Aug. 19. Rachael Hochstedler will be in charge of the kitchen and Mary Jane Eichorn will have devotions.
