Wednesday Connection will start October 14. Soup and sandwich time is at 5:30 PM with classes starting at 6:30 PM. Ross Weber will be leading a Bible study on Acts, Audra Franz will lead a class for women only, and Cathy Fellers will lead one on “Slaying the Giants in Your Life.”
Attention Quilters – All quilters are invited to Lake Area Christian School on Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 9-5 to quilt for the LACS Bazaar. Lunch will be provided.
You are invited to Lake Area Christian School for a chili supper and gospel singing fundraiser on Oct. 23. Supper will be from 5-6:30 PM (donation basis) followed by a concert at 6:30 by the Wasepi Bluegrass.
Annual Reports – Please turn in your annual reports for the 2008-09 year to the church office.

The cd being played this morning was made by one of the Moldovan translators.
Invitation to all! You are invited to attend the 1st Annual Cross Links Banquet to be held in Indiana on Oct. 24 at 6:00 PM at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church. Come and enjoy a wonderful meal followed by an informative meeting on what Cross Links does and how it got started. There is no cost to you for the meal. A free-will offering for Cross Links will be received. Please contact Ruth Peshina at 574-536-0147 or at ruthpeshina@hotmail.com.
We will celebrate Pastor Appreciation Sunday on Oct. 25. There will be a fellowship dinner immediately following the morning service. Please bring hot dishes, salads or desserts. The meal will be followed by a time for sharing our appreciation.
The Jail Ministry Annual Banquet will be Thursday, Oct. 29 at 6:30 PM at Calvary Chapel (north of Sturgis). Please note that this is the 5th Thursday of October, not the 3rd as usually scheduled.
Congratulations to Bill & Linda Miller on the birth of their 5th grandchild. Kaylyn Nicole was born to Jeff & Nikki Coney on Oct. 3. She weighed 7 lb. 2 oz. and was 19.5 in. long. She joins big brothers Dylan and Tyler. Proud great grandmother is Mary Miller. Blessings to all!
A free parenting seminar is being sponsored by six area schools on Oct. 15 from 6-8:00 PM at the Sturges-Young Auditorium. The speaker will be Dr. David Walsh, author of “Say Yes to No”, a book about raising children in today’s world. Contact Jane Dickey at 659-3664.
