Today is the last day to sign up for our Bi-Annual Marriage Retreat on Feb. 27,28 & 29 at the Essen Haus Conference Center. $100 deposit may be given to Bill Younts, Brent Beeker, or in the offering and designated to Marriage Mentoring. Saturday evening dinner is included in this price. Gerald & Lorraine Sims are our weekend speakers. We are looking forward to a great weekend of fellowship with each other, and marriage growth and renewal as we discover that marriage is “Sweet as Honey”.
All five men were affirmed last Sunday to be a part of the lot for Elder.

“We are planning an Easter Cantata and will be starting to have practice in February. Please watch the bulletin for further information and be getting your voices ready to sing. We need a lot of people. If you have song requests or suggestions, let us know. Thanks.” – Kim, Katrina and Sherry
Pastor Bill will be offering a class during the Sunday school hour for anyone interested in exploring membership, baptism or simply learning more about what Mennonites believe. The class will begin next week (Feb. 8) in his office.
The WMSC project for February is soap for MCC.
Haven of Rest Rescue Mission in Battle Creek is in need of the following items: copy paper, paper towels, toilet paper and laundry detergent. There will be a box in the fellowship hall for your donations.
The JYF and sponsors would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who stayed for lunch last week and for your generous donations. We really appreciate your support of the JYF and realize how much your generosity allows us to do the fun (and not so fun) things we get to do. We would like to extend a special thank you to Papa and Grandma Schwartz for going above and beyond to help, Grandma Miller for cooking all the chicken, Mary Schwartz for her help with the noodles and Karen Prell for all the wonderful rolls and extra help. Thanks to all the parents who stayed and helped clean up. If anyone is interested, there are still three cakes in the freezer. Please help yourself. Thanks again.
