Faith Statements
Isaiah Fellers – I am Isaiah Fellers, son of Adam & Cathy Fellers.  I have lived around the area for all my life and I am 18 years old now.  My whole family has been coming here for many years and I felt the calling to become part of a bigger part in the church.  I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.  I believe in Jesus, God’s only Son, and our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary.  I believe that He has died for my sins.

Faith Statements, continued
Drew Litwiller – I would like to thank everyone at Locust Grove, especially my youth leaders and Sunday school teachers, for helping me decide to accept Christ into my life.  I also want to thank Marv Schwartz for praying for me since I was little.  I am excited to be baptized and become a member of the church.

Cyndi Murray – Growing up, my parents belonged to United Baptist.  Some of my earliest memories are of them singing from the church hymnal in the car and climbing the big rock in the church yard.  But my favorite was my mother reading us stories from a beautiful gilded Bible that they purchased in payments.  It has the most amazing pictures and has become a cherished family heirloom.  I always considered myself a believer in Christ.  But it wasn’t until I was 39 years old and my first husband tragically died, and soon after my mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness that I recognized my need for salvation and acknowledged Christ as my savior.
Locust Grove has been a blessing to me and has greatly contributed to my growth as a believer.  I truly feel I’ve found my spiritual home here and would very much like to become a member.

Greg Murray – I had a salvation experience the summer of 1975 at Camp Luz in Kidron, OH.  I was baptized and became a member of Bethel Mennonite Church a couple of years later at age 14.  I have been a member of or attended other churches throughout the years and have experienced the ups and downs of life, but now consider Locust Grove to be my church home and a place where I feel connected to other believers.  After completion of Pastor Bill’s membership class, I expressed my desire to enter membership here at Locust Grove.
