mowing – week of July 26 – Mark Schrock
Food donations
during July will go to the Salvation Army.
The WMS project
for August is School Kits for Mennonite Central Committee. Bags in which to put the items will be at
each church entrance. Please fill as
many as you would like or bring the items in and they will be filled for
you. Items needed are: 4 spiral
notebooks (8.5”x10.5” and 70 pages), 8 new unsharpened pencils, 1 flat ruler
(must indicate 30 cm, inch markings optional, flexible), 12 colored pencils, 1
large eraser, 2 new black or blue ballpoint pens, and 1 small pencil sharpener
with metal blade (1 or 2 holes).
You are invited
to a memorial service for Frank Fisher this afternoon at 2:00 PM here at
Locust Grove. There will be a time of
fellowship at Marie’s house following the service.
Amigo Centre
is slowly reopening. They are taking
reservations for the West Shore Lodge and the Retreat Center. Baked oatmeal is back, this time with
a vegan option. Ordering is open now on
the website amigocenter.org and will close on July 29. Call 651-2811 if you have questions. Amigo Park is open for campers. The bathhouse is closed but those that
have bathrooms in their campers are welcome.
