interested in joining the group subscription plan for The Mennonite, please contact Beth Miller
today.
Price per subscription is $39 each for a group of 5 or $37 each for a
group of between 6 and 49. Last year we
had 6 in our group. Make your check out
to Locust Grove and mark it clearly for The Mennonite.
If you
are a high school senior or current college student, are planning to attend one
of the 5 Mennonite colleges, and would like to take part in the matching grant
program, please notify Gerri Schwartz by today.
The
WMSC project for April is sewing kits for MCC.
We
will be having a Parent/Child Dedication on
May 12. If you are interested in
participating, please talk to Pastor Bill.

New Prayer Chain List – It’s past time to
update our prayer chain. Please write
your name and phone number on the sign-up paper on the console by the
library. Even if you were on the prayer
chain before, you will not be on the
new one unless you sign up again.
There
is a “Be the Match Drive” (bone marrow
testing) to help find a match for Matt Littlefield on Apr. 27 at Sturgis
Middle School from 9:00 AM to 1:00
PM . Ages 18-44 can do a
cheek swab to be tested.
Fully Alive Choir will be presenting a
program here on May 5 at 6:00 PM .
