Pastor John will be gone to Kentucky this week with our MYF and sponsors. Jim & Faith Carpenter will be gone July 2-5. John, Jim and Faith will all be attending the IN/MI Conference in Indianapolis July 8-10.
Parents of Amigo campers – Camper scholarships are available for Locust Grove youth attending summer camp at Amigo Centre. Please let Beth Miller know if your child is attending camp and you will be reimbursed your scholarship amount after the camping season is over.
For those of you who played church league basketball this past winter, please return your jerseys to Ben Younts as soon as possible.
All ladies are invited to a bridal shower for Stephanie Parker, bride-to-be of John Nunemaker, on Wednesday, June 30 at 7:00 PM in the fellowship hall.
Sturgis Church League Softball – Tuesday, June 29 – 7:00 PM – Locust Grove vs. CFC (single game)
A special congregational meeting is planned for July 11. It will start during the Sunday School hour, followed by a noon fellowship meal, and continue after the meal. Bring a dish or two to pass and your own table service for the meal.
The next WMSC meeting will be July 15. Martha Franz will be hostess and Mary Jane Eichorn will have devotions. The project is school kits.
Remember to bring your staple food supplies next Sunday for the Locust Grove Food Pantry.

“Thank you so very much for your generous help in making health kits for MCC. A total of 125 kits have been bagged and will soon be taken to The Depot in Goshen for further distribution. May you and the receiver be blessed. Also on their way to the Depot are 105 bath and hand towels that have been brought in for June’s project. You may continue to bring in towels through the end of June. We now ask for your help again – to make school kits for MCC. You will find a list of contents in your mailbox. Bags can be found under the trophy case. Thanks!” – WMSC
The Locust Grove Walking Club will be walking again on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. We will be meeting at Louanne Younts’ home. Anyone interested is welcome to join us. If you have questions, please contact Carrie Martin.

- Pray that Youth Venture teams may be fully prepared for service, beginning in July, in Bolivia, Canada, Northern Ireland and Spain. Participants explore God at work in a culture other than their own through service and worship.
