The Elder Team
is starting the elder selection process by asking for your recommendations for candidates. Two new Elders will need to be chosen in the
lot. Ballots are in your mailboxes
today. Prayerfully consider the office
of church Elder. Complete your ballot by placing a check mark by no more than 5
names of the persons you feel have the gifts to serve as an Elder. Place your ballot in the box in the mailroom
by March 29.
For the Women’s
Mission & Service meeting this Thursday, Rachel Oswald will be in charge of
the kitchen and Becky Yoder will have devotions.
The Church Care Oversight Team has developed 2 new resources.
The first is a prayer/needs request card which you will find in your
mailbox today. It can be used to ask for
prayer or any need/assistance. These
cards and box will be kept at the Welcome Center. A Care Team member will follow up. The second resource is a section of the bulletin
board that is devoted to Community resources of any kind: food, mental health,
specific aging needs, etc. If there are
any questions, contact Janell Lederman, Stefanie Patrick, Steve Riegsecker or
Marilyn Schwartz.
Loved First is doing a fundraiser, “Buy a Seat
at Our Table”, during March & April. Sign up lists will be located outside the
sanctuary in the foyer. Hosts are
encouraged to reach out to friends and neighbors. Another fundraiser happening will be the Loved First
Golf Scramble, May 9 at Sauganash Country Club in Three
Rivers. All golfers are invited to
participate! Team and hole sponsors are
needed. Sign up forms are at the Welcome
Center. A meal will be provided.
The next Women’s Fellowship night will be April 14 at
6:00 PM. It
will be “Worship Night”.
