with Mom” for Mother’s Day. Today, May 10 at 9:30 AM, all kids and their moms or grandmothers are invited to the lower
level in the LG Kids department where there will be muffins, a craft, and time
for you to see how God is working in the hearts of our kids! We hope you can

Miller celebrate his high school graduation at an Open House here at Locust Grove on Sunday, May 31 from 2-6:00 PM.

The Women’s Mission & Service project
for May is baby bottles for the Sturgis Pregnancy & Family Resource Center
(formerly Sturgis Pregnancy Helpline).
This is a faith-based pro-life organization that ministers to the needs
of all families. Baby bottles are
available at the east door and the welcome center. Take a bottle home and fill it with change,
paper money, or checks (made out to the Family Resource Center). Return the filled bottle to the mission
counter in the fellowship hall by the end of the month. Donations may also be given on-line. Information for this is on the baby bottle
insert. See Louellen Westover if you have
questions.
The next Women’s Fellowship event will be a Cemetery Ancestry Tour on May 12 at
6:00 PM. Bring a
favorite family dish to share.

The next Red Cross Blood Drive is May 4. A sign-up sheet for
volunteers is at the welcome center.
The Church Care Oversight Team is looking for volunteers to assist with needs within our
congregation. We would like to establish
a pool of individuals willing to fulfill the needs as they arise. This will be the last day to sign-up on lists
located outside the sanctuary in the foyer area for the following: meals, transportation, and outside work or
lawn care. A team member will be
available to answer your questions.
The Women’s Mission & Service project
for April is sewing kits for Mennonite Central Committee. Items to make 30 kits have been ordered
wholesale for $40 a kit. Your
designation through the church offering to help cover this cost would be much
appreciated.
The next fundraiser happening for Loved First
is the Golf Scramble, May 9 at Sauganash Country Club in Three Rivers. All golfers are invited to participate! Team and hole sponsors are needed. Sign up forms for teams, hole sponsors, and
