The Women’s Mission & Service project for February is hygiene kits for Mennonite Central Committee. A list of needed items for the kits was in your mailbox.  Bags for the kits are on the Women’s Mission & Service counter.  This is the same project as for last month.

“Whisked away by love so true, together starting a new journey soon.”  Help celebrate Jenna Beeker at her bridal shower on February 7 at Locust Grove from 10:00 am to noon.  Please bring a recipe to share to help their marriage get a tasty start!  If you need a recipe card, please see Eva Beeker.  RSVP to Krista Schrock by January 31 at 269-625-1671.  Jenna is registered at Target and on Amazon.

On January 24 at 5:30 PM, the Youth Group will be having a “Souper Bowl” fundraiser.  Instead of having a chili cook off, they will be having a competition for the tastiest soup.  There is a sign-up paper at the Welcome Center.  Please consider entering your delicious soup and try to beat the 2-year reigning winner, Steve Riegsecker. Proceeds go to purchasing windows and doors for the Loved First school in Uganda.

Women’s Fellowship Game Night – January 13 @ 6:00 PM – Bring your favorite game, finger foods or snacks to share.  In case the weather is bad on this date, the Game Night will be rescheduled for February 10.

The Mennonite Central Committee will be canning meet January 6-16 at the Depot in Goshen.  Volunteers are needed to help.  If you are interested, call 574-202-3250.
